Research on Faecal Sludge Management
SSWARS Investment Company (SSWARS-iC) has been actively involved in faecal sludge management (FSM) initiatives in Uganda, focusing on sustainable sanitation solutions in underserved communities. Our efforts aim to address the challenges of inadequate sanitation infrastructure, particularly in urban slums, by implementing innovative and environmentally friendly technologies.

Low cost-improved toilets implemented by SSWARS
SSWARS (Sustainable Sanitation and Water Renewal Systems), through its for-profit arm SSWARS-iC, implemented a Low-Cost Improved Toilets project as part of its mission to enhance sanitation in underserved Ugandan communities.
